George Bratsiotis is currently the Director of all Postgraduate taught programmes in the Department of Economics. Associate Professor (Senior Lecturer) of Macroeconomics at the University of Manchester. PhD. Economics, (1996) and MSc. Economics (1991) from Queen Mary College, (University of London). BA. Economics degree, Guildhall University (London, 1990). He joined the University of Manchester in the academic year 1995/96. Co-Director of the Centre of Growth and Business Cycles Research (CGBCR, 2016-2019). Editor of Manchester School, (2009-2018), Special Issue Editor of Manchester School, (2009-2021); Associate Editor of Economic Modelling; Editorial Board of Economic and Political Studies. Committee Member of the Money, Macro and Finance Research Group (MMF) and Editor of the MMF’s Annual Conference Issue at the Manchester School (2009-2021). Academic visiting positions include, Brunel University, University of Athens, and King's College (London).
